All-Russian VHF radio competition “TATANOVO” will be held on May 20, 2023

May 20, 2023, within the framework of the unified calendar plan of competitions approved by the Ministry of Sports of Russia, the next All-Russian VHF Radio Competitions “TATANOVO” will be held.

The TATANOVO VHF Competition, inspired and organized by the Regional Branch of the Amateur Radio Union of Russia in the Tambov region and the Administration of the Tambov region with the support of the Regional Ministry of Sport, is a successful attempt to gather on one sports field experienced athletes (masters of sport international class, masters and candidates for master) who make the “weather” in today’s radio sport not only in Russia but also in international competitions and beginning young athletes

The event “outside the MKAD” allows young athletes from neighboring regions (Lipetsk, Ryazan, Penza, Voronezh, etc.) to come to the competition in the village of Kuksovo, Tambov region and compete with famous athletes in the format of full-time competitions, “shoulder to shoulder”, raise their level of sport and compete for prizes and high sport titles!

The School of Agribusiness in the village of Kuksovo in the picturesque landscape of its mini-agro complex, under flowering cherry and apple trees, will host radio athletes from the regions of Russia for the 3rd year in a row

All participants will be divided into groups of juniors in individual and team scoring, a group of adult participants and a group of participants with disabilities with a common air part of the competition.

The competition organizers will prepare a unique opportunity to observe the course of the competition “Online Stadium” via the Internet. Fans from other regions of Russia will be able to “cheer” for their competition favorites in real time

We plan to invite the crew of the “New Century” TV channel, heads of cellular companies, representatives of governmental authorities and social movements, DOSAAF during the summing up of the results by the panel of judges for the participants, judges and volunteers it is planned to organize lunch and a cultural program from Tatanovskaya High School and Tambov District Administration.

In the tradition of the sport competitions all participants will be awarded with memorable certificates from the SRR of the Tambov region, and the winners in the competing groups will receive medals, certificates of merit and valuable prizes from sponsors

The event will end with a common photo of all participants and organizers.

The sports competitions will be held on the territory of the MBOU TATANOVSKAYA SOSH, at the address: Tambov region, Tambov district, Kuksovo village, Moscow street, 82.

The types of personal competition program:

• A. SO JR-19 – Radio station with one contestant between the ages of 10 and 19 (juniors and juniors 2013 – 2004)
• B. MO JR-13 – radio station with two contestants aged 10 to 13 (boys and girls 2013 – 2010)
• C. MO JR-15 – radio station with two participants aged 10 to 15 years (boys and girls 2013 – 2008)
• D. MO JR-19 – radio station with two contestants aged 10 to 19 years (juniors and juniors 2013 – 2004)

Technical requirements

Participants are allowed:

• use any VHF-FM radio stations with a capacity of not more than 5 watts and frequency step not less than 12.5 kHz. The use of radios with more than 5 watts of power is not allowed
• authorized frequency range 144.5 – 145.5 MHz
• use only radio antenna equivalents issued by the judging panel (SMA-F antenna equivalent connector type). For radios with other types of connectors, you must use the appropriate adapter
• use all types of batteries to power the radio station, placing them near the station.
• use a headset
• use a laptop (netbook, tablet) to keep an electronic log
• to use the technical assistance of the panel of judges
