The real danger of 5G towers is named
American experts are concerned about the new generation of mobile communication
5G networks pose a real threat to people’s lives, as they can interfere with the measurement devices of aircraft, including civilian ones. The Sun writes about it with reference to the American experts in the field of aviation.
According to the Radio Technical Commission on Aeronautics (RTCA), which advises the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), 5G networks operate at frequencies from 3.7 to 3.98 GHz. This can interfere with aircraft radar altimeters that measure aircraft altitude above ground and other potential hazards such as mountains or buildings. These instruments operate at frequencies between 4.2 and 4.4 GHz.
According to the RTCA, the 5G represents a “serious danger” to aircraft and helicopters, regardless of their purpose or geography of operation. They can be both civil and transport aircraft.
The use of a new-generation network has the potential to cause instrument failures on aircraft that could lead to mass-casualty aircraft crashes.
According to RTCA president and CEO Terry McVenez, aviation safety in the future depends on understanding the risks associated with using the 5G network towers.
