The Knights of the Sky Amateur Radio Club is holding regular Activity Days on March 4-12, 2023, in honor of International Women’s Day, March 8.

Club members congratulate you on the holiday of spring and present a diploma dedicated to Soviet and Russian women cosmonauts.

VALENTINA VLADIMIROVNA TERESHKOVA was the world’s first female cosmonaut, Hero of the Soviet Union, Air Force Major General. Tereshkova made her space flight on June 16-19, 1963 in the Vostok-6 spaceship

Svetlana Evgenyevna Savitskaya is the world’s second female cosmonaut, the world’s first woman to go into outer space, twice Hero of the Soviet Union, Air Major Was a test pilot of NPO Vzlyot. She flew the MiG-21, MiG-25, Su-7, IL-18 and IL-28

In 1975-1978 on the MiG-25PU she set 4 women’s records of altitude and flight speed.

In 1982 as a cosmonaut-researcher she flew on Soyuz T-5, Soyuz T-7 and Salyut-7 orbital station

On September 6, 2014, she launched as flight engineer-1 of the Soyuz TMA-14M manned spacecraft. As a member of the 41st and 42nd Main Expeditions to the ISS as a flight engineer, she worked in space for 167 days.

Yuliya SERGEEVNA PERESILD is a Russian theater and movie actress. Participated in a space flight on board the Soyuz MS-19 on October 5, 2021 as part of a scientific and educational project, during which she participated in filming episodes of the feature film “The Challenge,” which took place on board the International Space Station. Returned to Earth on October 17, 2021 on Soyuz MS-18

Anna Yuryevna KIKINA is a test cosmonaut. Master of Sports of Russia in polyathlon (multiathlon) and rafting

On October 5, 2022 she launched as part of the crew of the SpaceX Crew-5 mission on the American reusable spacecraft Crew Dragon and became the first Russian cosmonaut to fly on it.

As a member of the ISS-68 / ISS-69 space expeditions she is currently on a space flight.

Conditions for fulfilling the “Constellation Dev” diploma:

Communications for diplomas count from March 4, 2023.The diploma is permanent. Radio contacts with amateur radio operators of all countries on the 1.8 to 28MHz and VHF bands count.

The diploma is valid until March 4, 2023

100 points required.

The radio contact with honorary member U4MIR Robbers of the Sky earns 20 points.

Radio contact with honorary club member Robbers of the Sky U4MIR earns 20 points.

The only female member of the club “Knights of the Sky”RA3RPW – 20 points.

The radio contact with a direct participant of manned spaceflight who is a member of the club “Knights of the Sky” UA9CES – 20 points.

The QSO with the special time call sign LZ21MiG gives 15 points.

QSOs with members of Knights of the Sky will be awarded 10 points.

For the above correspondents a multiplier is introduced for the following types of radiation:

CW -2

SSB-1.5

DIGI – 1

QSO at 160 meters – 1.5

Repeated QSOs with the same club member in the same day count on different bands, but on ONE band with different types of radiation (all DIGI counts as one type)

Members of the RYTHERS OF THE SKY club receive activator diplomas during Activity Days when at least:

100 QSOs – 3rd degree;

200 QSO – 2nd degree;

300QSO – 1st degree.

As applicants to members of the RYTHERS OF THE SKY club, no diploma is issued.
