Club radio amateur aviators “The Fifth Ocean” from 00:00 UTC 20.02.2023. to 23:59 UTC26.02.2023 with the support and participation of the Armed Forces Radio Amateur Union (AFU) and Border Guard Radio Amateur Club (RCPW) holds activity days to support pilots of the Russian Air Force Air Force taking part in the USO.

In all times the main driving force of wars has been weapons, the mass use of which to a large extent determined the nature of wars, and, accordingly, the importance of this or that area of armed struggle. Recent analysis of wars and armed conflicts shows convincingly that the course and outcome of military operations depend increasingly on the results of aerospace warfare. Air attack forces and troops (forces) of anti-air (air and space) defense as a means to combat them have become the main components of the opposing groups of troops and in a special military operation

Invited Amateur radio operators of all countries of the world to make radio contacts/observations with Amateur radio operators of the clubs “The Fifth Ocean”, SRBC and RCPW on the bands 1.8 – 28 MHz and VHF.

Conditions for the “We Shall Overcome!”

Diploma

Diploma connections count from February 20, 2023.

The diploma is indefinite.

In order to qualify for the diploma, applicants must make at least 50 QSO/SWL with radio amateurs, members of the Fifth Ocean, SRBC and RCPW clubs.

If you make QSO/SWL on VHF or 160m band only, you must make 25 QSO/SWL with radio amateurs, members of clubs “The Fifth Ocean”, SRBC and RCPW.

Younger collective radio stations only need to make 10 QSO/SWL with radio amateurs, members of The Fifth Ocean, SRBC and RCPW clubs.

Younger collective radio stations and observers will be awarded the diploma manually on the basis of a written request in the form of an extract from the equipment log, certified by two active radio amateurs, sent to admin@aviaham.org .

Repeated QSOs are only allowed on different bands and different types of radiation SSB, CW, DIGI. All types of digital links (RTTY, PSK, MFSK, SSTV, JT65, FT8 and others) count as one type DIGI.

Activators, members of SRVS and RCPW clubs, will be awarded a diploma with at least 100 QSOs,conducted only on activity days from 20.02.2023 to 26.02.2023

The members of the Fifth Ocean Club, can only receive the diploma as activators on activity days between February 20.02.2023 and February 26.02.2023

Activators, members of the Club “The Fifth Ocean”, the diploma with the number in order with the index “A”, is issued according to the number of QSO, conducted on the days of activity from 20.02.2023 year to 26.02.2023 year:

3 grade diploma for 100 QSO
2 class diploma for 250 QSOs;
1 class diploma for 500 QSOs
“Master” diploma class for 1000 QSOs
